Welcome to the Sweedler Research Group

Probing Signaling Molecules with Chemical, Spatial and Temporal Specificity

The Sweedler group explores a wide-range of research areas, including microseparations, mass spectrometry, bioinformatics and the application of these methods to investigate signaling molecules in a range of nervous systems. Specifically, novel neurochemistry is studied in animal models ranging from mollusks and anthropods to vertebrates.
